Email Settings

Standard settings for your email client (i.e. Outlook, Thuderbird, Apple Mail)

• login / username: your email address (i.e. post@sixnet.sk) - mandatory for in- and outcoming mail server too
• password: we sent it to you
• incoming mail server (IMAP), encrypted (RECOMMENDED): SSL
  mail.sixnet.sk, port 993, password sent normal (no encryption)
• We do not recommend use of POP3! Use the IMAP instead!
  incoming mail server (POP3), encrypted (RECOMMENDED): SSL
  mail.sixnet.sk, port 995, password sent normal (no encryption)
• outgoing mail server (SMTP), encrypted (RECOMMENDED): SSL
  mail.sixnet.sk, port 465, as login use your email address, password sent normal (no encryption)

Unencrypted connection (not recomended - in case of last option only)

• login / username: your email address (i.e. post@sixnet.sk)

  mail.sixnet.sk, port 110, password sent normal (no encryption)
• incoming mail server (IMAP), no encryption

  mail.sixnet.sk, port 25 (or 587), password sent normal (no encryption)

Password Change

• via webmail (https://mail.sixnet.sk), go to Personal Settings (upper right corner), tab Account -> Password

Auto Responder / Automatic Reply

• via webmail (https://mail.sixnet.sk), go to Personal Settings (upper right corner), tab Account -> Autoreply

Storage Use

• in webmail (https://mail.sixnet.sk), left down corner displays used storage of mailboch
• default value is 2 GB per email
